For us as a company (and also for our employees personally) it is important to give something back to the community.
For this reason, we are involved in various projects:
Support for the first-class Bundesliga power in Würzburg
The Würzburg Baskets are an integral part of the sports culture in Würzburg. With an impressive history and a constant striving for excellence, the Baskets have made a name for themselves not only regionally, but also nationally.
In recent years they have steadily worked on their performance, making them one of the favorites in the German Basketball Bundesliga.
With numerous events for fans, young players and the local community, the Baskets also offer a year-round program that extends far beyond the regular season.
Engagement
UNICEF is the children's fund of the United Nations (UN). Every child in the world has the right to a childhood - we are here to make this right a reality. UNICEF works for children every day in over 190 countries all over the world.
Participation
“Love in a Box” is a Germany-wide volunteer Christmas project.
In many cities in Germany, every year Loveboxes are diligently distributed and brought back to Würzburg filled to be carefully checked and then distributed to children in need.
Sponsorship
Giving children a safe home – that is the mission of SOS Children's Villages. As a politically and religiously independent social organization, they have the opportunity to make the world a little better. SOS Children's Villages eV is one of the largest support organizations in the global umbrella organization SOS Children's Villages International.
Sponsoring
As a non-profit sports club, TSV Karlburg places great importance on its youth work. In the tension between competition and solidarity, the children and young people learn how to treat each other fairly and show mutual consideration.
Why we are involved
The topic of sustainability is, at first glance, a rather unusual item on the menu of a consulting firm. In our opinion, however, this should become the norm for several reasons, as sustainability and environmental protection is not just the concern of individuals. Thanks to our commitment on site and in projects spread across the globe, we try to minimize our CO₂ footprint as much as possible.
We have decided to sponsor forest areas around the world and enable the planting of new trees.
So far, in cooperation with the organization Tree-Nation, we have been able to plant over 750 trees in two regions of the world, thereby contributing to reducing the carbon footprint. We are currently supporting the projects "Trees for Tribals" in eastern India and "Restauration Forêts dégradées" in the heart of France, but these are only the beginning of our sponsorships.
